Being right up the street from Jason's childhood home, the Olive is a place for everyone in the neighborhood, and all its guests, to enjoy the finest that this corner of Brooklyn has to offer. On any given night, you'll find businesspeople, blue-collar workers, sports fans, families, artists, and public servants sharing the space, a slice, a drink, or each other's company. No matter where you're coming from, you feel welcomed and laid back as soon as you walk in the door. The staff is family—literally—and you become part of it.
The menu items at the Evil Olive are prepared fresh daily, using the freshest ingredients from several local produce markets. All sausages and soppressatas come straight from Emily's Butcher Shop on Graham Avenue. Our full range of craft beers includes selections from local breweries: Brooklyn Lager and Summer Ale from Brooklyn Brewery, as well as Bushwick Pilsner from Braven Brewery, a startup straight out of Bushwick.
As dedicated members of the community, we donate our time and our pizza to many charity and school events in Williamsburg. We are proud to host an annual toy drive and fundraiser for our kids here in Brooklyn.
The Evil Olive also plays host to Capicu Cultural Showcase, NYC's most dynamic monthly open mic for spoken word, poetry, comedy, and music. Check back soon for our full events calendar.
If you're a fan of local sports teams, we've got you covered. If the game is on, it'll be on here, and our Executive Chef Travis will probably be adding to the commentary. Reggie and Jason are constant presences behind the bar and among the customers. The atmosphere is jovial. The service is fast and courteous. All that's missing is you.
And yes…we deliver!
